Need a favor; Anyone near Shingle Springs, CA?
Hi everyone-
I have a big favor to ask. I spent some time on the phone with Ground Control today discussing a Koni rebound adjustable based Coilover kit for our cars, (cl/w)203's including their Camber/Caster plates.
They've never been able to see what's going on with the 203 chassis suspension. I explained it the best I can, but, they would like to get a car in there and take a look, get some measurements, etc.
So, I am wondering, is there anyone in northern california close to Shingle Spring, CA who would be willing to volunteer their car for one day so these guys could take a look?
I can offer to pay for any gas/tolls and will pay $100 out of pocket for your time. Their address follows.

I'll be passing through shingle springs this coming weekend, but won't be in my car (it's on the way to south lake tahoe). How long do you expect they would need to look at the car? Are they open on weekends, or just normal business hours? It's not THAT close to me, but 2.5 hours isn't too painful a drive. So I *might* be willing to do it schedule permitting.

I will contact them today regarding their hours and how long they anticipate they'd need the car. From my preliminary conversations, one guy said "maybe just for the day but most likely not even that long". Considering you travels and taking the time out to do it, I am going to ask if they could just pull the front wheel, pop the hood, and just take the measurements.
