There is a thing about having a black car. Most people do not keep it clean and shiny because it requires so much work. So in a way, if I keep my car this way it IS different (just trying to justify my black decision) .
I do like the paprika! I bet it turns some heads (for the right reason that is).

The citron does look much better in person than it does in the MB literature. I don't think the color is anywhere near VW's green. There are at least two citron coupes in Houston--maybe more.

A Citron Green C230K is not "Good Different" IMO. =)

there is one green oftenly parked near the 76 gas in oakland chinatown, guess it's owned by one of the church guy next door.
for me, it feels more like a beetle than a mercedes.
i prefer my white color much better~

Te citreon green is in my top three colors for the C-Coupe. I think Black, Silver and white are the three worst colors.
The only complaint with the green is that it is 1600 special order fee.
Red, Orion Blue, Citreon Green are the best for me.

The other problem with a color like that green, is matching it if you ever have an accident. They would have to paint at least the whole side of the car to get it to match. BTW, the original "chick car" thing came from a letter to the editor at Road and Track after they tested a paprika red car. The guy probably drives a black Trans Am with a chicken on the hood.

I went to the dealer and asked what they would do and they said they use a digital scanner on the paint to match it exactly. A computer then mixes the color and they just spray the problem area.
He said they would not even do the whole bonnet but just where the hole in the paint was. It looked 100% perfect when it came back.
Wouldn't the same apply with the green?

I've scanned paint and had it come out perfect, and I've had it come out 5 shades off. Factory paint codes help, but they are not always exact, so you will usually have to blend the new paint into the old and reclear the affected area. With light metallics, it is hard to have the metallic come out exactly the same without doing the whole side, etc. It also depends on how good your eye is for that type of thing. Some people have a much better eye for color, texture, etc. so they are harder to please. A color like that green might even be a tri-coat where you put a solid color base coat down, then a metallic or pearl candy on top of that, then clear. Tri-coats are very hard to match. If they charge 1600.00 extra, it might well be a tri-coat color.
