$300/day trip interruption reimbursement
I just came across this MB feature in my '05 MB sport model brochure. Anyone here ever use it? I did a search, but I didn't get any results.

Have not seen or used that, but I did call Roadside Assistance once and they actually sent a mechanic to my house. Thought that was pretty neat! It was on Christmas Eve Day as well. I guess they have a mechanic on call 24/7 to assist you if needed.

Wow, that's great, I called them New Years day when I had a blowout and was on hold for the 20 minutes before giving up and calling AAA that came out in about 15 minutes. I treat MB Roadside assistance as a joke and will never consider calling them for anything. I had their other joke, Tele-Aid and they were just as useful. Don't even know why MB would bother if they can't take it seriously. In contrast, Infiniti Roadside assistance was wonderful and an example of what MB should strive for. Not only quick response on the same issue (blowout) but they flatbeded the car to the nearest dealer, about 60 miles away and installed a new tire, no charge.

So, I guess your answer is "no", you've never used the reimbursement, since it is only for when the car must go in the shop overnight while your at least 100 miles from home
Due to my job, I've often been in the company of people needing the services of AAA. In those cases, the AAA contracted wrecker d'jour ALWAYS takes about a hour to respond (inside a city with a pop. of over 250K), which is after AT LEAST 15 minutes on the cellphone giving them everything but your bloodtype!
In the case of the a blowout, I'd use the nifty MB trunk jack and change the tire myself in less then 10 minutes and be on my merry way
