new car questions(issues) ...hmm
hello all-
as a new owner of a 2005 c230k ss 6sp, i just had a few questions:
why is this car equipped with the LOUDEST front window defroster i have ever heard? when it comes on, it might as well turn the radio off. there is one setting (it seems) and you cant adjust how hard you want the air to come out. (or can you?)
does anyone else find if the dual climate heating settings are at the highest you get heat. anything lower is cool air - not warm air.
other than that, this car is great, and my wife loves it.
very few quirks. quite a tight and solid car (though it lacks - in my opinion- the better build/fit&finish of the previous styling w202 c280).

I asked the exact same question when I got mine. Apparently it's a European thing. If you turn on the Front Window Defroster say two notches and turn it down one notch, it will tone itself down. Beats me!

The front defroster sucks its like when i turn it on while someone is riding with me i have to talk louder for them to hear me, Also i noticed that the windows fog up alot more that other cars weird?......Also the manual seat is so ghetto i got my car on the lot without power seats and its so embarrising when someone wants to drive my car and there looking for the button to move the seat closer ....Its so embarrasing!!!! Hopefully MB will put those standard on the 07 C class!
