At least Mercedes-Benz is better than the industry average, despite the naysayers who love to talk trash around this forum Look how Volvo and Lincoln's rankings shot up since last year's survey!

It also looks like the big loser was Jag from 2nd to 19th, ouch.

Curious that Infiniti is tied for 2nd while Nissan is 28th - considering they're essentially selling the same cars. Lex/Toy and Acura/Honda fill out most of the top six. Showing that in their case the apples aren't falling too far from the tree.

My guess is that in the past MB used to do better in these surveys because they really only sold a couple of models that didn't change for years on end. Now that they sell many more models and have had to adopt a Japanese model lifecycle of only about 4-5 years between redesigns, their quality has suffered.
