Questions re: stereo in '05 sedan

1- Do both the standard stereo and HK "320" upgrade (w/o command) use the same headunit?
2- What is the size of the subwoofer in the sedan w/ HK upgrade?
3- Is the subwoofer located in the rear deck?
4- Are there 2 same sized holes in the rear deck that would allow you to place 2 subs back there?
5- In a sedan w/ standard stereo, are there two speaker grilles in the rear deck?
6- Where are the amps located w/ HK upgrade?
7- How many amps are there in HK upgrade?
8- Do all '05's use the same stereo wiring harness regardless of stereo? In other words, if I look where the HK amp(s) would be in a car that has the standard stereo, will I see the unattached plugs lying there?

thanks!

Jim

1) yes
2) ??
3) yes
4) in older cars; 2005 not sure
5) ??
6) one amp in rear of car
7) answered in #6
8) no; no (for instance, in standard stereo system, speaker wire harness runs to back of headunit; in H/K, speaker wire harness runs to amplifier)

I think it is behind the trunk liner on the right side. But I am pretty sure the COMAND has a different amp than the Audio 20 with sound system, so I am not positive.

On a related note, does the '05 C230 sedan have a first aid kit where the rear deck, passenger side speaker grille is mounted, like my '02 C240 had?

thanks again!!!
