Is there any way to "firm" up the shift for an auto using a chip

Is there any way to "firm" up the shift for an auto using a chip

With companies such as Renntech, GIAC, and others making chips for the coupe, do any of yall think that they should firm up the shifts for the auto. The "lag" in the shift takes way too long i think. Shouldnt there be a way to improve that with a chip?
