Dude, you are so clueless on this one...

GG, I'm speechless because I'm 50, which is alot closer to 36 than it is to 80. You thought you had tommy tougue-tied, too, right?

Revstriker, thanks for correcting my transposition of Up/Down to Down/Up. Of course, you're completely right. My bad.

Wyatt, sorry if my comment was too terse. Most of you folks from the Army here are quite well-spoken... just not sure how you came by it, as I have no direct service experience myself.

Really, now, anybody want to meet up in Dallas to compare rides?

Actually, I was thinking of TimmyC230boy, but I just checked his profile and he's 19, and will be 20 in Oct. I remember someone saying they were 17 though, but I can't remember who. Either way, Timmy is younger than you, and I'm pretty sure he owns AND drives the benz.

By the way, if you look at your comment (see quote) you say "Who drives a benz at 17?" and then in the next sentence you contradict yourself.

--Just "raggin" on ya! I think you're doing alright with a benz at 20.

Geez, for a one-legged female robot wearing a skirt, you sure think like a peg-leg Navy Stevedore (sp?) on shore leave, instead.

Change of Plans

OK, please re-read the original thread. I've gotten little response so far, and those who have expressed interest have asked that we move the date, which is fine with me. We are moving the Meeting to Sunday, June 30, same time (2-4 pm.) Keep voting on location. If you vote for #3, post a response below stating where else you'd suggest we meet (don't just vote).

MB-BOB, I just saw your post in the C32 AMG group and got your PM. I've just put the message out to the C32 Dallas crew in two separate places so hopefully they'll put Sunday 6/30 on their schedules. I will be there and I voted for Stonebriar Mall, but anywhere in Dallas is fine. Looking forward to meeting y'all!

Keith

We are now two weeks away from the Dallas meet, so it's time to finalize some items. Based on the overwhelming results from the poll , The meet will be:

Sunday, June 30, 2-4pm
Stonebrier Mall
Hwy 121 at Preston Rd, between Dallas North Tollway and I-75

The mall is huge, and we should have plenty of parking if we pick a corner of the parking lot. I'm thinking the NE corner. Does anyone remember the name of the restaurant on the north side?

I meant to drive over there this past weekend to select a spot, but didn't get around to it. I think the goal is to find some open space where we can line cars up for photos, and be within walking distance of a frosty beverage. So, I'm open to suggestion as to where to set up on the lot, from those more familiar with the area.

lhoang, you folks from Houston are welcome to drive to Dallas if you want. I want to avoid the mid-July heat, so am sticking to June 30. So far, the weather has been cooperating... only mid 80's here today.

Along the 121 side of the mall there is a Chilis and a TGI Fridays. I think they are on the south-west side of the mall. On the Preston Rd side, north-east, there is an Applebees, and a Bennigans. Right next to the Mall there is a Target complex. There is a pub called "The Down Under" which would be nice too. As far as parking lot space, I don't think we'll have too much of a problem. There's lots of room in both the Mall and the Target area.

Looking forward to the 30th!

So Bob, does this mean no on the Bikini Speedo thing? I would really like to see both you and Tommy in a speedo, but perhaps I'll regret it later. :p

We could post pictures, you know, it's more daring of me to post pictures of me in a tiny bikini than you two in a speedo. Perhaps we could find someone who is good with photoshop.

Do they make speedos big enough? I don't think that I know MB-BOB well enough for that. And no, there isn't enough tequila out there to get me drunk enough for that.

Tommy, how about I wear a white thong bikini and you can put the sun screen on my back. After a few tequila shots, you'll forget you're wearing a Speedo. That's when I'll break out the camera.

Do you two clowns have to hijack this thread (again)? I'm trying to organize a meeting here, and if folks have to pick out the relevant threads from the Speedo nonsense, they'll just give up.

...And don't say it was an accident. I know you two... :p

Umm, if you show up in a white thong bikini, I think the cameras will be out long before Tommy squeezes into his speedos!

btw - you shouldn't wear white..... it would not look good with your white hair.

Scott, Judy might be a bleached blond, but I'm a brunette, white looks great with my tan. :p

I understand, buddy. I'm trying not to get distracted myself. I plan to bring along a picture of my beautiful wife (just as a reminder) in case the white thong bikini shows up. You should, too!

It's always OK look guys! It's the other stuff that 'cause issues. Of course, you should know better than me, since both of you are married.

I swear, I'll show up in a little bikini if Tommy shows up in a speedo. He is just chicken.

Is everyone bringing a pic of Bob's wife to the meet? I've heard of swap meets, but this is ridiculous!

And even if GG summed up the courage to don a buttfloss bikini for the event (which doesn't seem bloody likely), still don't know if it'd be worth it for me to slip into the speedo. Things fry on leather seats, you know.

Tommy, if you're there in a Speedo, I'll be there in a bikini.

LOL! You beat me to it! I was just about to respond to Bob that I don't have any pictures of his wife.....

Tommy, as much as I don't want to see you in a speedo, I think you should call GG's bluff!!
