Question Air Cond Question

Does anyone know whether or not the FSS system is programmed to tell you if your freon level in the AC system is low or not? Thanks all.

I don't believe so. Manual discusses only engine oil management as part of FSS (or so I remember). Of course, there are other programs (non-FSS) that monitor other systems and throw fault codes, as appropriate. Don't know if A/C refrigerant is monitored, though. Good question.

I guess I have to use the old fashion method....just wait to see if things dont cool down as much...then take the car in. Had to ask...but could not find it anywhere else...manual, etc.

I think the manual lists all the different warning messages in a back section, and I don't remember an A/C warning. But, I do remember the manual saying the compressor will not run if the refrigerant is below a certain level, to protect it. It says that EC mode will not be able to be turned off. (Actually, I was reviewing something in the manual last night and saw this again).
