Do I have to wait to wax my new car?
I have had my new car for about a month. Do I have to wait to wax it? Does the paint have to cure or anything?
On another thread, it was mentioned that a good polish, with a high speed polisher, without wax, was the way to paint perfection.
What is the technic here??

nope, by the time the car comes from Germany, tha paint is cured. Go ahead and wax wax wax/ Its water based so it cures very quickly

You have a new car. You don't need a polish = abrasives.
I would do as I have done the past 2 cars when they were new as I don't trust a dealer to do a good job of detailing.
Wash, claybar, silicone/wax

If you look at the previous response,
you will see that the writer makes the assumption that polishes = abrasives. And it is true that many, and it seems that most, polishes have some abrasives in them, which is whay the previous writer said not to use polish until you have swirls.
Zaino polish z-2 does not contain abrasives. Z-5 does contain some very soft abrasives for very small swirls. So it depends on which polish as to whether they contain abrasives or not - you are right - I should have clarified myself.
In a new car that is non metallic I have found that they tend to have more swirl marks. So in my Magma Red, I need a little Z-5 before I use my Z-2 Zaino.
