Steering wheel squeaks...help
My '04 C230 sedan's steering wheel squeaks when i turn it....It's been getting louder and louder each day that passes...when I turn it all the way I can hear a slight knocking sound coming from the drivers floormat area....Anyone experience this? I havn't had an accident, and this problem came about 2 weeks ago

Depends..have you checked the power steering fluid level ?
...Does the squeak only happen when you first start up and the car is cold ?
Either way I would just make a dealer appoint. and let the tech. monkeys figure it out....

steering noise
the noise your hearing or klunk is either in the rack or its the upper strut tower bearings that are noisy. we had alot of c classes either coupes, sedans, fourmatics, or none fourmatics with noisy bearings
