Heater Smells Like Melted Wax
Using the heater alot lately on "auto" at 72 degrees and I have noticed a melting wax smell that appears to be comng from the engine compartment.
Anyone have any ideas about the wax smell?
And no, Revstriker is NOT hiding in my engine compartment.

Check your exhaust system. There may be a plastic bag sticks in your exhaust system and its kind of hard to clean it 100%. It happens to me once and I bring it to my dealer to clean it out for me. Good luck !!!

And I assume you checked the obivious...that the melting wax smell is not coming from melting wax ? (i.e. kid's crayon, candle) left in/near a vent opening...
Wonder if a plastic piece around the heater got moved somehow giving a warm plastic smell..I guess similar to wax...just a wild guess though..
