Can a C32 Kopressor can be used in my C240

I have read before that someone in the forum used the kleemann kit on his 240 and his car is close to 300hp (dont remember correct me if I'm wrong). But I have searched and have not seen a C32 kompressor in a C240. Would it fit without any modifications.

Is it worth $$$ and hp wise to do this or I'm better off to save some money and get the Kleemann kit or the MKB kit.

Thanks for any replies.

Its about the same cost to stick in a used C32 engine as it is the Kleeman kit. I think if kleeman shave a few grand off the cost, people would go gah gah over it. OTOH, swapping the engine makes the car worthless unless you find the right buyer, or your basic mod happy Kalifornian . If youre going to keep it and you want the most power, then go for it. Otherwise, just buying a real C32 might make more sense.

Selling the C240- figure 20k or so, and buying a used C32 is going to cost considerably more... No easy decisions.

with 03 C32's dipping into the LOW 30's and even high 20's there is no reason not to buy one. Any money spent on mods is = to throwing it off a cliff. At least the C32 is a more $$$ car that will fall just as fast in value as every other amg.... ie it will fall like a stone!

I must say a used C32 is a real steal these days. Why buy a new C230k when a used C32 is the same price.

Couldn't find any '03 C32's when I was going to buy my C230k. If I found one for the price range I had (30k - 37k o.t.d.), I definitely would've swooped one up. Every C32 that I saw that was worth a "look" was in the mid 40's - low 50's and I'm in L.A. where cars like that are supposed to be a dime a dozen. Maybe I just didn't look hard enough.

Well, either way, I'm still happy with my c230k ss. Plus, my color was hard to find and it's my favorite color, so either way (I don't have the power I would've had with a c32), but I like how my car looks, regardless ; )

the few used 32s Ive seen have a lot of hair on them. I'm generally quite meticulous about a cars condition, so I'd probably not be happy with the condition of a high 20s C32. Pretty sad that a 50K car is now selling for the price of a used C320 though.

It is fairly simple to clean up a used car. Take a few weekends and get all the dirt off and put on 6 coats of Zaino. After that the car will look like new. Interiors are a tad harder to clean but I have yet to see one I could not fix with enough work.

If a C32 could be had for 29k but it was a little rough around the edges I would take it and clean it up. 189 hp is enough but my C32 was just a tad quicker.

Guys go to autotrader and do a search for used c32's any distance in US. You will see that already there is one at $29k with like 30-40k miles on it and a bunch in the low $30k price range. Trouble is that it is still expensive. For me I like to lease because I get tired real quick of cars especially these days and besides it's cheaper. A lease on a used c32 is not easy to come by. Only a few places do it and most are MB dealers that have those c32 way up in the 40k range just beacause they are starmarked. Trust me I looked around. I would have bought one in a heart beat if it were around the same $350 a month I pay for my new 05 c230k ss. But....... there is nothing like driving a new mercedes out of the lot. U feel empowered especially on as beautiful as this new car!!!!!!!!
P.S. Don't engine swap...... nobody will buy it later. Kleeman--- too expensive for what you get and they are considered the cheapest tuner company! Just chip your car and do some exterior mods and then if tired buy a used c32 in about a year----- if you want to kill most ordinary cars on the road.

From what I know the AMG supercharger does not work with a C240. Jay (ClassC) tried to fit it in and could not make it work. Also the pulley on it is way too small. Basically too much boost for the stock C240 motor to take. A Kleemann system is ok in a C240 but gearing becomes an annoyance. Ive had the Kleemann system in my C240 for over a year, maybe 2 I forget and it runs ok. Its the most fun on the fwys and not the local streets.
