Was gonna install Eclipse AVN2454 today...but damn it!
Waited a whole week and finally had a chance to get my unit install. I called the installer earlier during the week to make sure they know exactly what they will be doing, so there be no surprises. But damn it, turned out that I am missing a harness for the rear speakers when all the panels were removed and about to install the sys in. I was sooo excited now so pissed off. I have to wait for another week to have the harness ordered.
While I be waiting for the harness to come in, can somebody help me with the canbus adapter issue? I have read from other post that our car need the canbus adapter in order to have the nav to work. But I also heard from owners of other cars saying they were able to tap the wire directly into their speed sensor, does anyone have more info on this?
The installer told me that canbus will cost me $250!!! I was like wtf !!!! Someone please help me out.
