Cup holder stuck...
My 'pop up' cup holder refuses to go down. It's stuck on something when I fold up the open part and push it down. Is anyone has had this problem, or known how to fix it? Thanks

but for a while, i didn't realize that the little chrome piece on top of cupholder (closed position) was a button. i used to just tap the top somewhere and usually, i'd hit it and it would eject. and conversely, i'd press the whole thing in, but it would pop back out b/c i'd be pressing the chrome piece while doing so.
btw, have you guys seen the new clk's cupholders? i can't figure out the one next to the shifter - looks like it is on a stalk that hovers next to the shifter but don't know where it comes out from, but another pops out from the dash (sort of near the indash cassette deck would be).
. I would prefer a broken one before none at all....However, when I visited my dealer last friday I found out that they have the US cupholders in stock!!!!
Unfortunatley I left my wallet at home, so I couldn't buy one, but I will do this weekend. My dream will finally come true!!!

I had a same problem. It's may be because the base of the stationary cupholder (deep left cupholder, not the one that opens up) is out of it's place. It might be raised up a little while you removed cup or bottle of drink. Just press down on the base.
I hope that was your problem, so you don't have to make a trip to the dealer.

Try cleaning it out. If you drink coffee daily (like me) with a bit of sugar, then some spill here and there may cause some of the fancy (plastic) gears to get stuck.
Good luck.
The rubber coaster-base for the left-hand cupholder just press fits into its recess. If you put a drink down there that is nice and "sweaty" on the outside (or sticky cola), the rubber coaster gets soaked and can be pulled up when you withdraw the drink. This out-of-place part can then interfere with the mechanical gyrations of the right-hand cupholder.
I suppose one could put some two-sided tape under the left-hand part to hold in down...
