Managed to get a 2012 w204 with the 220cdi engine and 7g auto box which is perfect, performance and economy
First thing I had to sort was the awful centre caps which was my first small mod, completely changes the look of the wheels and car

That just means dealers in your country suck. I would feel like a loser with that badge on. I don't even like the AMG logo on my floor mats or the wheels for that matter.

Yeah and they should be removed when you buy it. They do that for the rich fancy people to feel special. Real AMG's are much different then a car with the sports package. It would be like driving a base 3 series with M3 logos.
So you should actually do some research and see what AMG really means and where it came from.
Or not. it would change what is standard.
This M3 Killed Me !! Is not the same thing. BMW has the M pack, some of them, especially those new to the interior comes with the M logo, NOT M3 ...
Defeciente would have a Mercedes with AMG package and walk with autoclantes 6.3 AMG, as we have seen some around.
With a Mercedes AMG package that comes with the logo of manufactures do not think evil.

What's the part # on the muffler? And what size in/out pipe?
Sounds similar to mine. I have two Magnaflow 10416 mufflers and the 10790 x-pipe. The mufflers are quite long so it can be a tight fit if you have longer exhaust tips you want to use.

I think those are the parts number Shimee mentioned, I totally forgot to ask the mechanic for the part #, he let me hear them first so I went with the sound alone. There are other choices magnaflow offers, but I think the one I have is probably the quietest one, it offers a really nice deep tone.
