Glad to see a couple more with the stock rims painted/dip. Mine is still the silver and I'm on the fence on dipping them or not on my black 2011 c300 . Did you do the dip yourself?

I did, I dipped them off the car, made it easier for me. 4 layers of black dip + 2 layers of glossifier for the gloss finish which I much prefer to matte. Took a day, I waited for the black dip to fully dry before applying the glossifier + waited overnight for them to dry some more before mounting them. I also changed the center caps to a different style, I didn't like the look of the original ones with the black wheels.
I'm happy with the result, but they are annoying to clean sometimes. Even with the gloss finish, the dip holds on to dirt so you need to clean them pretty meticulously in comparison to normal wheels. Not a big problem though.
here's what they look like a bit dirty - they lose some shine because of brake dust but they look fine still from a distance. ( I also ended up polishing and clear coating my wheel bolts because they were rusty and looked awful )
I love the look my friend - wanted to do the same square tip setup but had a question on type of fitnent, did you go with the the "Y" setup or the "h" setup??
New to the Mercedes family as well as this forum and California. Here is the new ride as well.
2014 C250 Sport.
Any and all recommendations or advice would be great. We are in the Bay Area--Just relocated from Seattle. The wife and I are looking to do some mods...cosmetic and otherwise.
Let me know what you think.
-I know we will be tinting asap-darker is better
-Subwoofer install is inevitable- advice on an enclosure would be great. We have a 12" ready to go.
-Any insight on the audio system would be helpful
-Lowering the car is on the list...springs or coilovers?
-I have done some research on tunes as tell, everything is a piggy back...is that correct?
--Turbolag and transmission shift improvements?
-Exhaust upgrade
-CF hood, trunk, mirrors, etc
-Engine/component upgrades- Intake, downpipe, FMIC?, diverter, etc.
I am a fan of the red & CF look.
-Pretty much new to all of this, I know there is a lot of information out there. I also understand that a lot of it is preference.

I see you have a C200 -- so wasn't sure if it would be the same for a C300...
Thanks again -- looks amazing!!

For C200 or C250, I think the Y-setup is the best if you want quad or dual exhaust. But for C300 that a V6 right? U should go with the X-Pipe for way better sound. For the C200 since its 1.8 with Turbo, there isn't much sound to it.
ya my C300 is a V6 -- Def debating switching out the mufflers and doing an X pipe like you said...just still not sure what setup for the tips is best, the "Y" setup like you went with, or the "h" setup like some others have recommended...ughhhhh
