Hello Im new to the forum and I just wanted to share a couple of pics of my wife's car. One of the pics is what it going to look like when its lowered.

I had my trim done before using black vinyl tape. It wasn't perfect. There were bubbles at some ends and scratches deep enough that you could still see the chrome. Probably going to tackle it again next week on my days off. Gonna use your DIY on how to take them off and redo them. I did think about doing them in plasti-dip but I already have 2 sets of vinyl tape which I can use. Here's my car with the chrome trim blacked out a while back.

2012 E350 RWD
Headlights were a DIY. Cost me a total of 2 cans of paint. krylon satin black and clear coat. You would count 3M blue tape as well but I already had it so you're looking about $20 for a DIY? lol Cheaper than having someone else do it as long as your comfortable doing it. Very easy though. Just seems hard and scary because you have to bake them. I'll have my black trims redone next week as I posted before.
