Possible purchase
Im looking to get a new W204 to replace my 2004 BMW E60 525d. Im from the UK and was wondering when/if the C280 CDI engine will come out?
The C220 CDI is not powerful enough, the C320CDI is but its abit too expensive. So looking for a compromise.
Also on the center console ive seen pics of the 4 buttons above the heating controls, what are them 4 buttons for? I think one is for parking sensors and one says SPORT. What are the other two buttons for?

The current 220 engine is nearly as powerful as the 280, they actually have the same torque when equipped with the 6MT, and horsepower difference is so minimal (20) that it seems buying the 220 would be quite a waste. Also, since (according to the E-class pricelist), a 280 with the 7g-tronic necessary to take advantage of the power increase (standard on the 320) only costs €2500 less.
