Is it me, or is the cut-line for the hood a problem?

Does anyone else think that the cut line for the hood is too obvious and therefore ugly? I have seen pictures and the car in real life at the NY Auto Show and at MB HQ in NJ. It looks good except for this one aspect.

I need to see it in person, but I noticed the same thing. It seems to be a fairly large gap making it pretty obvious. The 3 has the same cut line from the A-pillar but then the cut line disappears because it becomes parallel with the hood so not as obvious. I need to see it in person and hopefully in full production the gap decreases.

It is not so much the size of the gap as it is the location.....we will have to wait and see...it is the only point a do not like, but it seems pretty major to my sensibilities...maybe in three years or so, when I plan on getting into the new C-Class, they will have done something about it...
