I recently noticed a quite significant difference about the fog lights. Though, I don't know if it concerns the american models that much, since they seem in most cases to be equiped with the AMG bodystyling kit (in both C300 & C350, but perhaps it applies to the "luxury" model.

Anyway, on cars without the bodystyling kit, the fog lights differ in appearance wether you go for Bi-Xenon headlights or the old traditional headlights. With traditional headlights, the fog lights are small and completely round, whereas headlights with Bi-Xenon option, the fog lights are much bigger and not entirely cirkular. Is there anyone else who has noticed this? I'm not 100% sure that it is this way.

If I, in this matter may say my opinion, the fog lights do look much nicer and muscular with Bi-Xenon headlights.

In those pictures you can actually see the difference in look between the fog lights.

First, I thought it depended on in what country the car was sold, but after what I saw, it may not be.

I believe the xenon headlights also have the ligts that come on when turning to light up the curb area. This is why those lights look different on the two versions. This is the same as the lights on my 06 C350 with xenon. It is a nice feature but not as nice as the tracking headlights or intelligent headlights available on the Euro W204's.

The fog lights with the bi-xenon headlights are also called cornering fogs, which mentioned above turn on when you turn or turn on the signals.

The difference in fog light shape isn't limited to just the W204. You can see the exact same thing in the GL and new ML. Bi-xenons get oval-ish fogs and halogens get circular small ones.
