I was dropping off my car for service after hours Wednesday night and could tell the dealer had just received their first shipment of brand new W204's as there were a lot of sales guys prepping and parking them out front. As many have said, they are alot better looking in person. There was a white one with an AMG kit that looked especially nice! However, I'm still not a fan of the big star grille. My wife, on the other hand, commented on how nice she thought the big star on the grille looked and that if she were to get a car (instead of an SUV) that would definitely be it. I went to pick up my car from service last night and they were having a big party for the W204 unveiling and it looked like a classy affaire, with valet parking, appetizers, and so on. I guess since I didn't buy my car from them I wasn't on the special invite list . Oh well, I'm pretty darn sure I won't be buying a W204 anyway but it looks like Mercedes will have another very popular entry level sedan on their hands.
