Having not only viewed the new C up close, but having driven as well, as a long time MB(ex-disenchanted after the dark ages) the new C has bought me back into the fold. I'm extremely impressed with the build and mechanical quality of the new C. I have a hard time liking or considering any of the new C's competitors when this car reminds me of the car company that I grew to love so much from childhood, and the quality of MB's in those days.

To the point it seems as if MB has designed this car to be cheaper to maintain than your typical MB with the more simplistic/less complicated features and the superb build. I was wondering if anyone had the same perception, or maybe there are some that have some sort of insight?

Totally Agree with you

I too have be "disenfranchised" by products from MB over the last 10 yrs and I love the cars and the brand. I drove the new C yesterday and agree MB is back. This is the first MB that makes me want to buy one since the good old days. I will be back with them too once this current lease is up.

Although, about those memory seats.................

so after years of being disappointed with MB products a test drive has over turned years of bad experiences?

didn't know MB owners could be so impressionable

This is good to read. If the C can repeat the S-Class' success all that is left is the next E.
