Dude dont look at the pricing that MB shows that they are discounting the car via european delivery. What you need to do is find out what the European dealer invoice is on your car and the options you want. Then ask the dealer to tack on anywhere from $800.00 to $1200.00 to that. But be advised that you will have to go to Europe to get the car. I am doing that on my bmw 335xi coupe. See the way BMW works it is like this. The discount they show on the website gets reimbursed to the dealer where you ordered the car from. So if the discount is say $3000.00 the dealer gets that plus the $800.00 to $1200.00 they tack onto the european dealer invoice. Its a win win situtation. The dealer make between $3800.00 to $4200.00, the car doesnt come out of his alotment, no finance charges to the dealer and you get a car about 11-12 percent below MSRP. But like a said you need to pick your car up in Europe. If you dont want to make a vacation out of it then fly in pick you car up and fly back home that same day. The plane tickets are like $500.00. My dad did that on his bmw 535xi. And his payment was $598.00 per month with $2500.00 out of pocket for 24 months @12k miles per year. But then again bimmers residual is higher and their money factors are a lot lower.

Another downside of ED that your car is break in period so you can't drive full speed on autobahns. You need also plan your trip, select cities you want to visit, reserve hotels and so on. I think summer is the best time for ED.

I did an ED for my SL & had a great time. I hit an indicated 157mph with the top down. The discount, which paid for the trip, played a major role in my decision.

Even if I decide not to take the trip, I am sure this number can be used as a bargaining chip if buying from a dealer. By the way, the C300 Luxury is available at $30,597.00. The C300 Sport is not listed. I guess they are made in South America for the US market.
Just to throw this in, I put my order in for a C300 sport 4matic (not European delivery) and saw the posts on here as to where its built in Germany or South Africa, so thought I would ask my salesman. He confirmed that my order was sent to Germany and being built and shipped from there, for what its worth.

European Delivery Invoice Details

In 2007 I bought a BMW 750i and paid a margin over the ED invoice (this is significantly lower than the regular US delivery invoice). All told, after I was done, my cost was way below the US invoice cost to the dealer. I am buying a Mercedes now and am wondering how to get hold of the same data so as to negotiate the price with the MB dealer. Suggestions appreciated. This is for my wife and she is looking at the 350 wagon.

Yes they do, instead of clicking on complete lineup, click on C-class in teh left column. It is listed there. Just a glitch on the website. MB actually makes more $ on the C300 than the C350, so they have more incentive to sell the 300 rather than 350 with ED.

You might want to go to the E class forum and post there. This is the C class.
