I need some quick advice
OK, so I ordered the 350, completely loaded...
Now there is a problem. They say leather will not be available and they don't know how long it will take them to make it available.

So I have a work sheet here and the total for everything comes to $49,045
They took my $2000, but they haven't processed it.
I went to KBB and created a 2005 C320 sport with all the equipment. It came to $31,850
I did the same thing for the SAME car minus the leather
$27685
So I think I'm going to call up my dealer and say that its a deal breaker and I would need money off the car. Question is, how much do I ask for? I don't want to be laughed at, and I don't want to be stingy. But the car has over $9k in options, plus sticker price for the car, plus tax, title, license.
Comments? Is $1000 too much to ask? $1500?

Yeah I know its not the same car, but neither is the 2007. Same engine yes, but I was also looking to find out about how much I could get if I sold my C350 2008 after it was 2 years old.
Here's more news, turns out I just called the dealership in Chicago where I'm going this weekend (I'm going to see Wicked)
Anyway, they say that a 'leather shortage' is a bunch of crap and that they can get it to me by October with leather and everything else I want.
So I might see what deal they can make me.
Still though, what would you ask for off? (I'd have to fly to Chicago ...800 miles to get it)

With ordering the car, getting it after the 320 package mad dash, while also getting all the options, which means more money for the dealership. 1000 off isn't too much to ask.
