My wife had been in an accident a few weeks before this. They gave my full payoff ($13k) on her '09 Nissan Cube. The Cube should have been a total loss. There was $12k in damage to the Cube. The entire back 5 feet of the car was replaced. Suspension, unibody/frame, glass, quarterpanels, rear door etc... I sure as hell didn't want to keep this steaming POS. They bought it sight unseen, knowing it was at the body shop and wouldn't receive delivery for almost a month.
The selling point on this car is that it is in *ABSOLUTE MINT* condition. It was just as nice as any brand new car I had looked at. There is not a single scratch or rock chip on it. The interior (hell, the whole car) looks like it came off the showroom floor yesterday. I had looked at quite a few other 300's/350's, but the perfect condition of this car is what sold me on it.
After looking at some of the deals that other people got, I was feeling like I got ****ed, until I remembered the part about them buying the Cube which is worth maybe $5k.

Mercedes-Benz is pretty cool as I never heard such a low rate for used cars especially 66 months.
about a month ago, 44,000 km's, no pano, no nav, no stereo package. Artico Seats. Base C300 really. I paid $24,500Cdn plus tax 3.99% finance. i drove 4 hours for this MB saved me atleast $4000 to $5000. In the Toronto Area most dealers overprice these MB's. Got a Great deal. Still have 1 year MB warranty left, Very lucky to find a manual trans with low Km's with Black interior. Very Happy with my first Benz.
$30k at 1.99% for 60 months (through MB financial).
CPO service loaner, 8 months old, 4k miles.
Added the 7 year, 135k mile warranty for $975.
Adding the Nav+4/UMI/Nav20 package next week ($1650 thru Mercedes of Westminster).
The Best of Mercedes & AMG

That price was from:
1 - doing my research,
2 - knowing exactly what the car and my trade were worth,
3 - negotiating only the net price (not negotiating once for the car and another time for the trade), and
4 - getting up to leave once (since we had a perfectly good car and didn't NEED to buy).
Then at closing, they tried to sell me the extended MB warranty. I said "absolutely not", and the guy immediately knocked it down $500. So I took it

That said, the book value of a 2011 CPO 4matic was $29,200. I agreed that the vehicle was worth more, due to low miles and known ownership (the dealer). They initially wanted $33k for it.

Sounds like the deal I got on mine.
You'll love it. Ours keeps growing on us.
Also looked at the 328i. C-300 was $2K less with more options.
The only option I need is XM radio. Will need to figure out how to add that once I get it home. Will welcome any and all suggestions.

I don't have it, a I added the Nav20/UMI system, and this can't integrate with that. But others here have gotten it. Search for "cartronics" in the search box, and you'll find all the feedback you could ever want.

Ipod's looking pretty good.
You can call the dealer and see what the OEM box and upgrade would cost (I have no idea what that cost would be).
If you have an aux in (there should be one in the glove compartment) and don't mind mounting a sat receiver on the console, you can do it that way for a whole lot less.
There's a DIY here for moving the aux input out of the glovebox and relocating it (it's really easy).
That will also work for an IPod with a mount on the console.
The Benz is my wife's car, and she's dead set against anything mounted, she wants factory look and integration. And as we all know, if Momma's not happy, nobody's happy.
When I get home, I'll search and find that DIY and post the link here.
Alan
