Quick question C300 cold starts….

When my C300 starts cold after sitting all night in the garage or I would say anyplace more than 8-10 hours I would imaging.. I notice for the first 30-60 seconds the engine has a very slight vibration or subtle bounce to it in away? I’m sure it’s normal because as soon as the engine temp bumps to the first notch or approx 60 seconds or so it’s smooth as glass… Just wondering if I should be worried or is it just normal. My work truck a 2007 Toyota Tacoma does the same thing cold, but it seems more noticeable in the C300 it could also be because the I-4 configuration in the truck is better balanced than a V-6 but what do I know.

Also just one other thing, we’ve got 1500 miles YTD, only thing I might have to take it back to the dealer and get adjusted is the passenger side rear glass has a very annoying wind-buffeting sound coming from approximately at the weather strip surrounding the window frame? I don’t know, just wondering if anyone else noticed or had the same issue?. We hear it between 68-80 mph.

The cold start issue is normal.

As for the wind buffeting, it might very well just be a weather stripping issue, and your dealer should be able to fix that fairly quickly. I had this issue with the CLS and they replaced with brand new weather stripping on the left rear door within an hour w/ car wash

We are past the 2500 mile and one month mark on our car, and 1/2 of the way through our road trip. So far, no issues at all to report. None.

Now that the engine is starting to loosen up, fuel consumption continues to improve - we are seeing 28+ mpg at 70 mph with the AC always on, and at 5000-7000 ft altitudes. But the real deal is the ride / handling combo - best car we've ever had, period....
