C350 exhaust modification

I had the rear mufflers removed from my C350. The shop installed stright pipe in their place. This leaves the cats, the small twin resonators and the mid-resonator in place. The exhaust sounds good to me now - but then I am one who likes some sound. In stock form the car is very quiet - quieter than I like.

A little noise doesn't hurt.

Did you notice any changes in the low end torque?

How does it sound? Does it compare to a G35?

It is not as loud as my 335i with the rear mufflers also removed. I have noticed no difference in torque. The remaining cats and resonators probably have enough back pressure to prevent a drop in low speed torque.

normally you would bypass your resonator with either straight pipes or x-pipe. that is more common route then just putting straight pipes where your rear muffler goes. The best thing to do would be to just get magnaflow resonators in place of the stock mufflers b/c they are 100% free flowing. hope that helps.
