Dealer Fees? $590 Pac fee?
I went to the dealer & mentioned the costco discount. He mentioned that one top of the costco price, there is a $590 Pac fee... does anyone know what this fee is? It sounds like a bullsh*t fee to me... can anyone help?
Thanks in advance!

It appears to be the MB advertising program that stealers can elect to sign up with. Therefore they pass this on the the buyer. Its a voluntary program that has several levels.

My dealer wanted a $500 "doc fee"
not sure if it's the same as your Pac fee.
I was able to ask them to waive it. (they still had to charge me upfront -- company policy or something, but wrote a check of $500 back to me)

Just to clarify a few things...every dealer (in NC) has to charge a Doc fee, whether they waive it or not, it'll still show up. Also, there is a "participation" fee for advertising that is normally attached to every single car, not sure on this amount as it can vary from dealer to dealer. As with "doc" fee's, they vary from dealer to dealer as well.
