Chrome Door Handle Inserts
Anyone get the chrome door handle inserts yet? Just wondering what they look like on a car, I saw them on a GL 550 and they looked great, but it's huge and I'm not sure they will look so good on such a small car. Would appreciate anyone posting some pics if you have them installed.

My dealer recommended against it because it can become loose and jam people's fingers. It also felt like it made a squeaky noise when I tried to open a door that had this. It does look pretty nice though.

Glad to see others interested. I don't know how well they will hold up, but they do look good on dark colored cars, plus they stop all those scratches from rings and such.

I think it might be a good idea because I see red finger nail polish marks on my wife's car under the door handle, no big deal, but the chrome insert would be easier to clean and they dress the car up a bit.

I have this on my White C350. Loved it
Looks weird when first put on, but after a while it makes a nice complement to the car especially since there are already a few parts of the car exterior with subtle chrome finish.
If you ask me, Yes I would do it again if I have the choice

Thanks for the pics, looks nice. Are these an easy install or did you have the dealer do it? If you did it yourself, what are they held in place with?
Your windows look dark, did you have them tinted or is that just the lighting?

yes it is 18% tint
I did it myself. Very simple ... once you do one, you'll do better on the next one.
I wouldn't have the dealer install it. No offence, but I think I'll do a better job installing these myself.
Very simple install... it just came with a sticky pad on the back of the chrome handle. You just have to clean your door handle area with the included alcohol cloth and off you go.

The chrome will get scratched just like the paint, but they are replacable.
The place that installed my clear bra on my previous car also used the extra material to clear bra the door handle scoops and the front side of the side mirrors for free which was a pleasant surprise.

I didn't want them because they would help guard against scratches, although I'm sure they would. I just wanted them because they look cool, but now after seeing photos on a C I'm having second thoughts. They don't blend very well. On the GL I saw them on, the GL handles have a chrome strip on the top of the door handle that really helped tie in the chrome door inserts. The solid painted C handles just break up the chrome look of the insert.

If someone has these on a black car, could you post a picture of them? I'm interested in getting them but I'm worried they'll look to bling or distract from the rest of the car. They look really sharp against the white paint.

Chrome Inserts
I think the chrome inserts under the door handles are very attractive. I put them on my PT Cruiser and never had a bit of trouble. They never came loose, just like they were part of the vehicle. I am looking for some to put on my Nissan Rogue. Haven't found them yet...still looking. If anyone knows where to look please leave me the site to go to. Thank you.

They are on ebay uk for about 50$. Not bad, but could anyone post some pics with these on their car? Saw them on an S class and I must say that they look fantastic, especially on dark cars.
