Canadian Warranty Information on U.S. Cars
Hey Guys and Gals ...
check this info I just saw on another forum ... the Automobile Protection Assoc (APA) has listed warranty info for Canadians who want to buy cars in the US.
http://www.apa.ca/template.asp?DocID=253#MERCEDES-BENZ
This is confusing, as I thought we (MB Buyers) lose the warranty ....
"Car must be modified to meet Canadian specs by a Mercedes-Benz Canada dealer and certified that standards are met. Mercedes-Benz Canada then issues a Letter of Compliance, and the same 4 year/80,000 km warranty as Canadian market cars. There is no corrosion warranty and no extended warranty is available."
Now it does not look like such a bad option to save around $3K-$5K ... more? (anyone done the math fully? I've seen varying numbers on the threads)
