Where do you set the driver's seat vertically???

I've been trying different driver's positions and am making myself a little crazy.

Where do you guys set the driver's seat vertically? Maybe relative to the windshield. i.e. dead center vertically or maybe 1/3 from the top or bottom, etc.

I'm still working out the kinks on that as well. Right now I'd say I'm sitting just a bit above center, I feel that it is easier to control the car that way and I am able to see more of the road.

Seat position

<<I've been trying different driver's positions and am making myself a little crazy.>>

The real problem is that the angle of the steering wheel is too flat and is different from all other MBs.

I noticed this when driving a demo months ago and thought it might be a problem for me and sure enough, it is. To counter this, I have raised the seat up and lowered the column to where I can just see the top of the speedo. even then, with my hands at 9:30 and 3, my forearms are touching the wheel and I don't like it.

I didn't think much of the seats, either, but adjusting the lumbar support to the halfway point has helped a lot.

Disappointing.
