Carbon Fiber parts coming soon !!
i was starting to get annoyed with the lack of aftermarket parts for the 204 so i emailed the guys that sell the carbon fiber front lip for the w203's.
I asked them if theres a carbon fiber front lip in the works for the c 300/350 sport models.
he replied to me saying this!
We have all this stuff in the works. We are going to have an exciting
line up of parts for the new W204 C-Class Sport models.
Whats in the works is
carbon front lip
carbon diffuser
carbon rear deckilid spoiler
carbon roof wing
carbon mirrors
and possibly a carbon hood.
This stuff should be ready in about 2 months time.
Thanks
Neal
I am definately getting the Carbon fiber front lip and rear difuser. it will look awesome since my car is white. the contrast will look really cool. like on the clk63 black series cars

.....ditch the spare tire, jack and some other minor stuff????
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
something like that.
yeah i cant wait for this stuff.
but too much CF will look cheesey.
thats why im only gonna go with the diffuser and the front lip.
Yeah, I agree it ain't for everyone, but it saves weight. And the common formula is every 100 pounds=10hp using 3000 car as a reference. I don't quite believe that, since the c3004matic would then equate to an approx 150hp car, and it seems to drive better than that, but you get the idea.
Certainly ditching the spare and jack isn't for those who live outside metro areas, or even for those who's metro area is small, but for me, I live in North Jersey, which means from Northern Virginia to Boston is basically one big urban center, expecially Jersey. We are the most densely populated state in the union. If I'm in an area where a gas station or similar ain't within 10 miles, then I'm in the sticks. Your mileage may vary.
If you're nervous, get run flat tires. That and the tire pressure monitoring system should give you notice of any problems and allow you to get to safety.
My personal opinion about leaving out spare tires, bumper jacks etc., on a $40K car to pick up a few horses under the hood, is that its a bit too far out there to be worth while. We're not talking about a space shuttle where every pound counts. We're talking about extremely good transportation that if you go to get in and find that you have a flat tire, you can replace it with the spare in 30 minutes and be on your way......as opposed to spending the afternoon having someone else drive you around with your flat in their trunk trying to get a replacement. Each to their own.
The rear spoiler, roof spoiler and mirrors should be done sometime
early/mid August.
The front lip will be around the end of August and
the rear diffuser will be a little more delayed after that.

The lip is pretty much the only piece I'm waiting for. Other than the CF hood, maaaaaaybe? Probably too expensive and cheesy to be practical, but...
Thanks for the info.
Nobody will know.I can't wait to see pics of the CF front lip. I wonder if it'd look similar to or different from the W203 lip. Probably the same...

I already worked out a deal w/ Neal for these
