I just saw this site from another posting. What does everyone think about the safety glass idea for the front driver's and passenger's side windows? Think it really would also deter theft of items?

It is just a tint, I don't see how they could charge much more than a normal tint =P
I thought the idea was a good one. I dunno tho, there is no one around me that I can go for this product, but if anyone knows of a similar product that they have tried, I am interested in your thoughts.

Finally had a chance to take some pics today of my car with 30% tint.
Don't feel its too dark, but the real test will be in the summer!

Thanks Peabers, will try to take some more pics in sunnier conditions to really show the darknest of the tint. Snowy weather lately.

Yeah, I had metalized film on previous cars and it didn't really interfere with any devices. Cellphones, portable Garmin GPS unit etc..

I just tinted my white on black with Huper Optik ceramic 35% all around - it came out much lighter than I expected.
Tinter told me Huper Optik 35% looks about same as Solargard's 50%.. I don't know why but according to that, different brands might look different with same % tint so.... DUH!
