Ha ha ha no offence to the poster, but this post made me laugh. It's like asking Wonder Woman to take a picture of her invisiable jet.
I know what your getting at though, you want to know if its really worth dropping that kind of cash on a piece of saran wrap for your car.

I saw it on a couple cars at the dealer and I couldn't tell they had anything on them till I got close (5-10ft) to the car. I did not notice a difference in the shine.

After three years, the clear bra on my wife's Subaru looks a little dull. I may have made the problem worse by waxing her car (hence her hood is shiny, and she treats me well ). It's probably time to get a replacement for it... err, I mean the bra.
But yes, after a few years, you will see swirl marks on it as with the rest of your car.

So it's true.. it does look dull after sometime. That kind of is disappointing. I'm getting obsidian black and I asked for a clear bra to be put on but now I am regretting it if it will look dull over time... maybe the car will look better over time without it (provided it doesn't get any little knicks from stones on the road).

It all depends on teh film....different manufacturers of paint protection film have gone through anywhere from 2-4 different generations. Paint protection of today is very different from even one year ago. The most important is to search out a good installer as that decision will make or break the clarity of the film.

Here is my Passat with 4 year-old X-pel Clear Bra. The entire front, including the headlights has it. I did it myself, and it is a pain in the ****. Even if you can see it from certain angles and in certain light, it is virtually invisible. Trust me, seeing clear bra is better than seeing the alternative...rock chips or rub marks from a vinyl bra. It is a far cry from saran wrap. Oh...I spent 8 hours making a template out of masking tape and applying it to raw sheets so I could cover the Zender air dam. It was well worth it. BTW, that line on the hood is a reflection of the wall. The clear bra goes back about three inches behind the headlights. You can see a verticle line just under the passenger headlight. In most places, it isn't very noticeable because it terminates at the seams of the car. It is most noticeable on the hood. The car's paint shines right through. X-pel makes a piece that covers the entire C's hood. I don't if I would get that though because the paint does shine better without. Anyway, I can't stress enough how many times this stuff saved my front end. Take a look, not one rock chip and the headlights are like brand new.
It's on the lower rocker panels too:

Here are a few pics of the clear bra on my E46 M3...you can see it up close but when you are standing at distance, you wouldn't even know it's there. You will notice it the most on close up pic of the wheel...the cut line is right above the wheel. IMO, worth every penny
