Age's of C300/C350 Drivers
I was leasing a 2007 C230 sport, but gave it back just 4 months in
and ordered a C300 sport with command
I am a Network Administrator, now financing the new C300.

I have a friend that is in his early 30's and he is too focused on appearance, he has a condo he can't afford, a 50K SUV that's drowning him, lives off his credit cards and claims he can't 'afford' to invest in his 401K (that his company has a match I would die for!). Basically he looks and lives like he makes $100K+ when he makes about half that and I bet in a year or so we (society) will be paying his debts. If I had to guess he's one mortgage reset away from disaster...
too all the young guys with W204's I'm happy for you!
Seems like all the young money is in tech.

I'm happy for you, Angeloxnet... for being able to afford a Benz. The best I could achieve was a Lexus.
The state says I'm 35, tyrants!
But i got a c180K. 300 or 350 are damn too expensive here.

Personally I did not had to wait until this day to purchase a $42,000.00 car I also own 545i BMW and tree other cars, so I believe a lot of people of my age in this forum had and could afford more expensive cars.

who owns a home/condo/townhouse and owns a new C, age? Who rents ands owns a C, age? Who lives at home and owns a C, age?
I'm kinda curious myself, being in the middle of the age span here. My parents were maybe too conservative in not buying anything nice until they were fully established in life, but a lot of people younger than me seem to waste all their money on labels and names, with no real savings. Obviously, these are generalizations on both sides, and not fully true. But, I'm curious where the truth lays.
For the record, I bought my 1st home ever before I bought my first new car (a 2002 ford focus). The Merc is only my second new car in my life. I'm 35, and haven't lived at home since age 19.
My wife and I were driving old paid off Civics while saving for our house, after we bought the house and got settled we decided to buy a nice brand new car.
We went from a 95 Civic to 08 C350, I'm 28 and my wife is 26
I'm 22. I'm picking up my c300 4matic after work today (skipping class) fully loaded MM Premium II I have maxed out my Roth IRA, own my own apartment building (I recently moved into one of the apartments as well), I work full-time, I am a full-time MBA student and have put in an offer for a 2nd property. So for anyone who is surprised that someone younger then them can afford a nice car...you really shouldn't be. I have some friends who are in much better situations then I am. My parents are both immigrants who came here with a few hundred bucks some 20 odd years ago. They showed me what education and hard work can accomplish.
BTW, I don't think people are surprised (or at least I'm not, plenty of ppl. are more well off than me), I just suspect that some think others are mortgagign their future for today, which just might be true.
