Urgent Help needed
Guys,,, somehow i managed to screw one of my audio20 buttons by accidentaly droping super glue on it 
I guess I am left with no options but to have it replaced,,, by damn dealer claims that it can not be replaced!! which doesnt make sense whatsoever..
can someone plz help!!!

try some wd-40, that usually does the job of removing crazy glue.
Be sure to test on an inconspicous spot first. See how the surface repond to wd-40, making sure there won't be any discoloring.

I tried to scratch it to flat it out,,, it ended up with the paint off (that white spot you see)

Every part is replaceable...for the right amount of money. Ha ha ha (evil laughter) I'll just assume one of two things, either your dealer was too lazy to go to the service department and pull up their computer, or its too new of a part for it to be in the computer yet, in which case your service advisor has to call up MB and get the part number. There's no way a car company would put out a product with a part that couldn't be fixed, not to mention a part that sees wear and tear every day.
But now I wonder what you were doing in your car with crazy glue...hmm maybe I shouldn't go there.

I think you will forget about it after some time, and you thank yourself in the end that it wasn't worth the $700+ whatever it would cost to replace that entire faceplate assy

Lol, i was tryin to fix the damn piece of rubber under the standard screen. if u read my previous posts, i had a problem with my audio20 system,,, but thank god, its working fine now. but somehow,, they couldnt get that piece of rubber back in place properly,,, so i had to act like Mr. Macgyver. got my swiss knife & my super glue and thats what it ended up like... Total mess

Ah ha ha, yeah stupid crazy glue does go everywhere if your not careful. I was thinking about this and your probably not going to be able to order just that button. I bet it comes all together with the scroll wheel and both buttons as a single part, probably why they said they couldn't order you a new button.
