pictures of trunk nets installed?

I have a C300 4 Matic luxury US model that I'd like to install the trunk nets on. The dealer sent me the nets, but the instructions don't seem to make any sense.

* you have to drill 2 4mm holes for the top "hooks" which they include
* you have to pull a non-existant loop through a slit in the carpet of the trunk (slit exists... loop doesn't).

Anyone have pictures of a dealer install or even a DIY install with the dealer nets? Or can provide any insight? My dealer hasn't done one yet, and seem confused as well.

Any insight or instructions would be greatly appreciated!

Mine has 4 tie-down loops at each corner of your trunk floor, they are rather small and hard to spot.
I kept my ML trunk net and used it on my C and it fits perfectly. Unfortunately the Mercedes trunk tray option I have doesn't have cutouts for these hooks, so the net takes is a little more time to remove or put back on.

can you post some pictures of your nets installed? Are the tie down loops metal? All I recall seeing is some little plastic insert that is flush with the floor, and then a slit in the carpet.

I'll have to go out there and look again later.

We didn't order the nets. Interested in how they look also.

Well, once someone at the dealership figures out how to install the silly things... I'll take pictures.

I have no issue drilling the holes and putting in the double hooks, but I am still perplexed as to where the "loop" is on the floor to connect the bottom hook. It doesn't seem to exist... only the slit in the carpet does.

I'm planning on posting a bunch of miscellenous pics by this weekend.

Have you tried to pull up the floor panel (spare tire lid)?
The rings may have not been pulled through the floor panel.
The tiedown/D rings are chrome -- they should've come with your car whether you bought the trunk net or not.

I will help you just as soon as I get back from the dealer in the next week. I orderd the back and one side net. When they installed them, there was a missing part; the D-ring for the floor connection. This happened on my 06 C class as well and it totally confuses me that they are not familiar with installing parts. (still having issues with my quickpark install)

I managed to take a few shots:

ML cargo net (less than half the price of a C cargo net) with OEM trunk liner:

Not sure if I want to make the cutouts in the trunk liner for the net D-rings to pull through. I think it's a poor design as there's hardly any lip around the cutouts and any snow, water or dirt will fall through it.

trunk liner pulled up:

trunk floor carpet pulled up:

cut out in the trunk floor carpet:

Yeah, I am definitely missing the d-rings. Do you have a part number so I can make sure I get the right thing from the dealer?

Thanks!
