Phone hangs up when turning off engine?

not sure about for the w204, but my wife's rdx requires the user to enter a voice prompt "transfer call" or else it will end call once the engine is off. might be the same case here.

I believe that it depends on the type of phone. My Blackberry has an option to transfer to handset. Also, when I'm talking on my phone, it will "automagically" transfer the call to my bluetooth when I enter the car.

Tried it with my Blackberry 8800. When started up the MM system, it took over my call and put it on handsfree. However, there was an issue with keeping the talk path open. So while I can continue to hear the call, the other end was not able to hear me.
