I'm in the US every month, at least 30% of the people I see are very overweight, I don't see the overweight american as a stereotype it's very much a well documented fact. BTW I'm not european either.

I want the rims on the W203 in KiwiRobbie's signature. Those spokes are bent outwards at a sharp angle, sorta like spider legs. I love that look! I've seen it around quite a bit, so it must be an M-B OEM, right? Do they make the wheels in w204 offsets, in 19" ?
AND...
America has the fattest people, it's true, but Europe and Asia are fast catching up. Plus, even with all our current socio-economic ills, we still got the best country in the world. So there. Long live our over-consuming republic.
