voided warranty?
I had this in my last thread as 1 of 3 questions, but has anyone ever gone in with mods, minor or major and been denied your factory warranty?

depends on the mod`s, the parts that get modified won`t be covered and if the failed component is caused by the mod`s, it does`t void the hole warranty,
exp.tires and wheels will only affect the wheel warranty,head lights will only affect the head lights unless the lights cause the harness to fail then that won1t be covered, fuel computer flash will void the warranty on the fuel computer only

The Magnusson Moss warranty act states that a manufacturer cannot deny warranty on a modified car unless the modification caused the failure. A lot of dealers try to pull the warranty deny crap, but by law they can't touch you.

2008 R350 & 2008 C300
Just reading the new Road and Track magazine and found something interesting in an article on used WRX's. Said that an owner had a crack in the rear wing and the service department voided his warranty claiming the crack was put there by excessive vibration caused by his after market exhaust...ha ha some dealers can be ...holes!
