C300 (W204) w/ MM, P1, & 18"amg's
... Ya it is lol. I wouldnt say $100k but an easy 40k+. Its one of the most powerful engines on the road... If I was really going to think an engine swap I would look for a turbo V8... maybe from a E55 if the engine bay is large anof.

With mods a few of us are looking for some turbo kits. Most people with get a powerchip/ecu upgrade. K&N already has a filter but alot of people are looking for a whole new intake. I have a feeling alot of mods will come out just wait. Also most prericers look for exsausts, but the stock muffler is near perfect hard to upgrade.

2013 G63 AMG
dont forget.. if you stick a v12 in there, youre gonna have to maybe change the transmission to be able to handle the power of the new powerful engine..
so that will cost a lot aswell.. and a new exhaust system will have to go in im sure.
so thats a lot more money..plus shipping cross country and taxes and labour..
you might aswell get a whole other car!!!!!

X3 and 2012 C coming soon
I'd be happy with around 7 lbs of boost, a proper ECU upgrade and an intercooler for about 30 to 50 more hp. There wouldn't be much else to do. With the high compression of the C300 engine do you think a taller headgasket would be needed to lower the compression?

The C63 is nice... wish i knew about it before i got the c300. And with 7psi you would get the nice take off the line with out sounding like a ricer. But personally i like the sound of a turbo wastegadge doing their dance is just magic. Im hopping for 20+psi altho it will ruin the caps... Lol well you have to make sacrifices sometimes. I have no idea about the headgasket... Could be a good 20+hp hidden tho.

2008 R350 & 2008 C300
C350 eh its ok still going to get smoked by guys in Evos and Sti's but its still good for most people. The C300 is a bit porky with the auto and 4matic, a few more ponies under the hood certainly wouldn't hurt matters.
As for dropping in a V12...hmm I say buy the C63, its been designed for the extra weight of the engine, plus it has some handling goodies thrown in to sort matters out, its not a V12 but it will scoot for you specially if you want to do some tweaks to it. You go stuffing in a weight heavy engine like a V12 into a car that was designed to have a V6 in it and your probably looking at all sorts of handling issues.

Yes, they'll smoke us, but their drivers are still tooling around in tin cans. A VW R32 would smoke a C too, but with German finesse.

C63 road test
<<Yes, they'll smoke us, but their drivers are still tooling around in tin cans. A VW R32 would smoke a C too, but with German finesse.>>
The 1/08 edition of Auto Motor und Sport from Stuttgart publishes a 5 page performance comparison test of the BMW M3, the BMW Alpina B3, and the C63 AMG. The C63 was the most expensive at 67830 Euros.
And finished dead last.

[QUOTE=Derspeed;2644216]true but see thats the reason im getting rid of my wrx...im only 18 and alot of stupid things run through my head. I cant afford to keep getting tickets here and there. I feel that a c class is a smart idea right now. I wont get into the trouble and i will take alot of time when i mod this car. So in the long run when my car is fixed up, ill be more mature about it and not do the stupid things im tempted to do now

Let me give you Gents some things to ponder over:
1. You guys are better off buying a C63 or some other form of AMG variant if you want a rocket. Hence why I have a CLS55 which could smoke my CL and E hands down.
2. A benz is a benz. It eschews class, success and well its a ****ing benz, they just look great and are reliable.
3. Your current 7G-Tronic can not handle a V8, unless you have one specially beefed up to handle the torque and hp of the V8 (the model's are different for the 7G-Tronic). Hell the new SL63 has a similar design to that of a SMG and DSG (finally, only if the C63 had it).
4. C63 is going for around 75K. And at that price its a bargain since its going to be faster and more shrewd than an E63, CLS63, ML63, CLK63, S63, and CL63. This thing is a true beast. 500hp from a C Class talk about power overload.
5. The W204's front clip (everything forward of the A pillar) has been re-engineered for the larger V8. So a V8 will not fit into a regular W204. You need a new suspension, transmission, radiator, electronics, fenders, bumpers, and anything else you can think of.
