Blackberry 8310 issues

The phone works flawlessly in the car as a phone. However when i try to download the vcards its a no go. When I go to the Bluetooth menu and ask to transfer the address book I get a message "unable to locate push server". Then If I go to the menu on the car and go to the option "ready to receive vcards" then it automatically disconnects the blackberry! Disconnected I try to do the transfer and then I get a failure message from the phone.
What to do??? Any ideas???

BB 8310 is the BB curve by Rogers in Canada. You should able to transfer the address book. A few of the owner of the MB c class and S class was able to download the address book but need to tried a few times.
Not sure why you get disconnect. Bring this back to dealer and usually they will try to help you out on setup of the address book. My sales guy did help me out but unfortunately I'm using BB 7310e from Bell Canada and it do not have "send address book" option on my BB.

The tech guy from the dealer opted to do mine. I have an 8320. First he went into the cars system menu went to bluetooth, options pressed (i think recieve phonebook, then when into the phone and clicked send phonebook. Im sorry in not specific, but i dont have my phone nor my car infront of me.
I'll deff give it a shot and see wats up.

thanks guys, I just spend about half an hour trying to sent the damn vcards and still no go. I tried multiple times ( about 50 or so) and nothing...
So off to the dealer..
What really pisses me off is that my sales guy, who is very nice, is on vacations and I got delivery from another salesman, who either is clueless about the car or did not give a rats a** about me since I was not his customer . I'm inclined to believe the later to be honest...
Rant off

I have a Pearl. This past weekend, i was mucking around with stuff and decided to do a complete reset on my Nav. This was after i had successfully paired and sync'd my contacts when i first got the car. I had no issue pairing the device, but when it came time to do another upload of all my contacts, i kept getting the "unable to locate push server" message. I tried like 5 more times to no avail. I finally got it to sync, but i really dont know what i did differently than maye hit the "transfer address book" and the "receive address book" buttons on my phone and on my car at exactly the same time. The other times only had maybe a 5 second lag, so i doubt that was it.

I had the same error message on my BB Curve when I picked up the car. The sales manager spent 30 minutes but no go. When I got home, I finally got it to work. You have to queue your BB to send contacts before telling the MB to download. See if that works for you.
