Question: seat controls and tail lights

Im looking into getting a US model C300 4matic, and I've searched these forums and can't quite get the answer I'm looking for. Can you get power seat controls mounted on the door (in typical Mercedes-Benz fashion) for MY2008 in the US? If not can you special order them? and what option pkg includes the LED taillights?

LED lights are the P2 package. As for the seat question that would have to be done with custom fabrication. It would also be kinda pricey being that they would rewire and then have to chop up the door panels to custom fit the buttons. Personally I dont see why you would want them on the door, they take away from the steady streamline look in the interior. $.02
Hope that helped.

my $.02 the same as Mikes. together we still have less than a nickel. I think it would just cost too much for too little in return.

P2 Package will get you the rear l.e.d. lights, but be warned the only part that is l.e.d. is the turn signals, the brake lights are standard bulbs. So if your not interested in the other options in the P2 package its not worth the money. Could also try ordering them from the parts department as a replacement part, not sure how the pricing would be. Eventually there will be after market tail lights available.

As for the power seat controls being on the door for U.S. models the answer is no. You can get them on the door in Canadian models so if you live near the border or feel like paying extra money to have a car imported you could go that option. Or wait till the 2009 model year as I have a feeling that will be one of the options they add, there are way too many people complaining about the lack of memory seats for them not to listen.
