2008 C 300 sport
ka'mon guys, you can tell from the first two letters of the VIN number where it was made. if you can't figure that out then you can open the door and look on the panel, and if you can't figure out how to open the door you can look on the sticker from when you bought your car and pulled off the lot. man, owning a bmw and talking on the forums with people that actually knew their cars is worth the switch back.

The 12-months quota of SKDs originally planned and allocated to be built in Egypt sold out in the first 10 days. Trouble here is we have 265% custom duties on luxury imports which would bring my C280 (C300 US) to about USD 212,000.00 as opposed to the USD 80,000 of the locally built car. So it's either wait or pay for an import. My deposit was received June 28 last year (4 days after local paper launch), production started in October, and they delivered my car Feb 6 2008. It wasn't even the color combination I paid for, but I didn't want to wait another 3 months for that!
