When I went shopping for a set of wheels for the wife's C300, I wanted to stay away from your typical 5 or 7 spoke designs. I wanted something that gave the car a more race inspired tuner look without the typical "tuner bling". Call me crazy, but my inspiration for the wheels I choose, came from the older generation DTM AMG vehicles....
So I went with a set of O.Z. 35th Anniversary rims. They're black with a machined surface. As soon as the wife brings the car around (and the weather warms up a bit), I'll snap some pics outside, but for the time being, here's the tire rack rendering of the wheels on the car...
Oh and in case anyone is wondering, the specs are as follows; 18x8", 5-112 bolt pattern, 48'mm offset, 28lbs, and they're wrapped with all-season Hi-Perf 225/40 Bridgestone Potneza rubber. Total out of pocket, including delivery, lug bolts, locks, and installation was a hair under $2200.
Could have gone crazier, but lets face it, it is after all the wifes car.

Oh man, don't even mention the bug in front of her - Thankfully she hates it as much as I do - LOL...
The OZ's will do just fine for her. I would rather her daily means of transportation be a little more subtle than "in your face", if you know what I mean...
I'm waiting for a 3pc rear spoiler and the window wing, and that should top of what we'll do to it for the time being. Just enough to give it that personal touch...
I have a feeling we're going to be seeing a lot of new C's floating around by the end of this year...
