not sure what you are asking exactly, but I do have an order that I am waiting for that I placed in early november. it will be ready for pickup late march.

It seems there's still many people waiting for their C's, some as long as 2-3 months. Is it more so for the 350's vs the 300's? 4M vs 2W drive? The only thing that I know for sure (having seen the NE inventory lists), is that the dealers have much more PI configured cars than PII...
I don't know about the rest of ya, but I walked into the dealer two weeks ago, said I wanted a palladium over black C300 4MATIC Sport with the PII package, CD changer and iPod integration, and 3 days later we picked up our new C-Class. To be quite honest, I thought for sure having asked for what we did, we would have to wait as well, but to my surprise my dealer had the car in stock. It wasn't like we even settled for the car. It was actually exactly what we wanted. Guess we lucked out.

i knew i was going to have to order and wait since i wanted it fully loaded with leather.
my sales agent told me that the leather was going to severely limit my selection on readily available configs...not to mention that i also wanted pano, and MM.
...i really had no choice but to order...and then couple that with the production change from Germany to South Africa, and the longer trip from SA to the states...
it all adds up to some logistical problems that MB should have anticipated. a 5 month wait for a fully loaded C Class is ridiculous in my opinion - it's not like i ordered a ferrari!

yeah just curious to see how long ago some of you ordered and who is still waiting. JCOnizuka that is quite a wait man. kudos to you for having the patience. i too am waiting for my order.
ducati - it does seem like the 350 4 matics have a little longer wait time. now quite sure why that is.
itcrahsed - i agree with you 1000000% to wait this long for a car that is well under a 100k is crazy. the only logical explanation i can come up with is that MB did not anticipate the demand for this vehicle (very similar to nintendos wii) or they dont want to flood the market.

Anyway yeah, I think the C350 4matic version has a long wait list. But I was ok with it because after I order it, I went on the 2 months long Vacation with my girlfriend. got back in January and now I am playing the waiting game
. But for the past two weeks, I have alot of sleepless night. Saw alot of white C class on my daily commute now...Damn it! I want my car now!!!!
Anyway yeah, I think the C350 4matic version has a long wait list. As of now you shouldn't be put on any waiting list. Only if you want a strange combination of options should you even have to order one. Last week my dealership had at least a dozen C300's and four or five C350's in stock. That inventory even consisted of what I would consider rare cars, a Mars Red C300 4matic Sport, a Black C300 Six Speed Manual transmission, and a P2 MM equipped C350. The cars are slowing in sales and dealers are starting to build inventories, so unless you really can't live without a certain option, your bound to find a good deal just sitting on the lot.

I took a test drive in a c350 with MM when it first came out just as a demo and you couldnt buy it yet, and i like it but didnt know if that was gonna be my final choice. Came back 3 months later, knew i wanted a silver with 4matic, and the two choices that i had was silver/4matic p2 or silver/pana. roof p1. It was hard but i choose the 4matic with the p2 that was in the showroom. I can't imagine having to wait 2 weeks for it, let alone 3-5 months. Hope u guys get your cars soon.

the wait is killing me.
ive wanted the car since september when my dealership got one.
as soon as i saw c350 sport white with pano roof and p2 and multimedia and the 18'' optional amg wheels.
i knew i needed it.
unfortunately i live in canada and need the 4-matic.
so i placed my order in october. and im still waiting.
it went from getting my car in december..to january..to february..and now hes telling me beginning/mid march.
it really is b u l l s h i t . . but what can you do?

i got an email from my dealer telling me that the build date is in march. at best i will get the vehicle in late april (i hope). i ordred the car in early January. so it looks like a full 3 months for me. that seems to be the trend for most of you out there.

that sounds about par for the course but you may want to consider waiting a bit longer and order a MY2009 instead! there may be a few package changes and features that are not available on the MY2008.
