a shop i contacted told me that painting the chrome on the grille was guaranteed to chip off. did you powdercoat? i prefer the all black look as opposed to leaving the chrome strip unpainted...

its plastic, dont think powdercoating would work too well...
BUT 3M clear bra protection shoud do the trick!......

hey tune time really interested in how that exhuat will sound, as soon as u can get some soud clips we would like to here them.
and really wanna know if the c63 rear diffuser fits just fine or if it has to be modified. Your work looks real professional. Keep it up

as of today.... MB put the C63 parts i have on order on some type of parts hold... Maybe to stop the panel switching.... Im not sure but it had some strange code that i have never seen before....
The exhaust should fit in the diffuser just fine, without any cutting... I dont care what anyone says, when you cut a rear bumper to fit a diffrent exhaust... it just looks altered and unfinshed.... Cut plastic does not have that finished look.....
Full picts prob tomorrow or weds..... have to put the window moldings and drip rails back on the car.....
i have my S lorinser panels coming back from paint and the wald CL bison car going into paint.... and i have wheels/tires coming for the S and CL tomorrow, finishing this C and all my regular stuff tomorrow its going to be a busy day.....
and i try to stay professional..... if i think i wont like the end result... i wont do it....
well... and its 2:40am and im just getting home.... started my day at 9am.... got to be up in 6hrs... and do it all over again....
