Athens snow
Believe it or not its snowing in Athens Greece.
I know that for the most of you this dosn't mean much but for Athens snow is not something you see every day.
Its ok for a day or two but if it continues like this and i cannot drive my C because of icy roads im sure im not going to like it so much.
In the pics you see my C white on white and my other car asking me what happend and we are not moving.

oraia...was just speaking to my mom in Maroussi and she has not left her home for 2 days... Its funny, I was watching the news through the Internet and everyone was talking about chains, however noone spoke about winter tires. I have blizaks W60 for the winter out here and I can go through anything, snow or ice. A second set of sports winter tires like the W 25's or Nokian WR's would be a good idea to be ready for anything as they work really well on normal dry or wet cold days, plus you have the benefit on the occasional snow to be able to drive on them safely.
I have a set of Nokian WR on my Porsche 911 and I'm seriously thinking on leaving them on year round as they are that good!

So having a second set of winter tyres is a very big luxury in comparison with the snow chains which costs 40€ a pair

Just noticed your pic's and that as well as your C you have a Cooper S in Lightning Blue(?) with a white roof (deduced from the mirror pods, not the snow ). Pretty much like my house: I have a C220CDI Elegance and my wife has a Cooper S in Lightning Blue with a white roof. Small world

We are not prepared to deal with snow driving conditions.
We prefare snowboarding than driving when it snows.
Also it's a very good opportunity to miss one or two days from work.
