Ordering? & Pricing?

I am going to order a C300 4MATIC Sport, Obsidian Black, Black Leather (this is the option that made it a build-to-order car as barely any C's have leather), PII, Ipod Integration, MM Package, Pano Roof, every option available for the US version. What has your experience in how long it will take to arrive after ordering. My S-Class only took 1.5 months when I ordered January 2007 it came early March. That was because the dealer had changed a car right before the build date. Am I looking at something like 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, or even 4-5 months? People on the forum have greatly varying times, tell me what your experience has been? Also the dealer gave me the MSRP at $45,000 and without saying anything wrote down $41,500. I know this dealer very well, so is that a good price? Thanks.

I ordered mine yesteday and dealer said it I can take delivery by mid April. I guess I got a car that was already in their allocation to arrive in April. I got $300 over invoice.

There are a few threads here discussing wait times and pricing. From what I recall, the wait periods are typically 2-3 months, and lately more like 3.5+ months. Avg discount seems to be around $2K off MSRP.

Personally, I got $1300 off MSRP plus a set of Blizzak tires mounted valued ~800. It took about 3 months for mine to get here.

BTW, congrats on your car and welcome to the site!

You should go for the C350

I would and want to! But can't because MBUSA decided we don't a 4MATIC C350 right now...oh well. A C300 has an ample amount of power for me. The only thing I like is the black trim instead of aluminum over the sport.

According to your spec, you should be able to get at least another $500 off and ask your sales to throw in the all weather mats.

I think that is a good deal, though I don't how much dealers are willing to deal lately. I paid almost the same price (it was full sticker) last fall, and that was without the MM package and leather.

The Canadians have it great because they could have both the C350 and the C230 (engine not available here) with the 4matic option.

Ordered my car (C350) 11/14, build date of 1/22, ship date 2/5, estimated arrival in Baltimore of 3/11. I'll probably take delivery 1-2 weeks later. So 4 months total. Your wait may be shorter. I think my order was caught up in the production shift from Germany to SA.

You American MB fans are so lucky!

I've ordered a C220 (diesel) fully optioned with memory seats, active xenon, COMAND with sat nav, Harmon Kardon sound system, leather, heated seats..... nearly AUD$90000 (approx USD$81000). This includes more than $15000 in tax (GST, luxury car tax & stamp duty).
